Description We are looking for skilled accountants to join our team in Stockton, California, on a long-term contract basis. This position involves performing essential financial tasks such as auditing, budgeting, and managing accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates will bring strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting systems. Responsibilities: - Conduct accurate audits to ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations. - Prepare and manage budgets to support organizational goals and financial planning. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes effectively. - Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy. - Utilize ERP systems and accounting software to streamline financial operations. - Generate detailed financial reports to assist in decision-making processes. - Collaborate with team members to improve financial procedures and workflows. - Monitor and ensure adherence to financial legislation and company policies. - Provide support in payroll management and employee compensation tasks. - Review financial data to identify discrepancies and propose solutions. Requirements - Proven experience in accounting roles with a strong understanding of auditing and budgeting. - Proficiency in accounting software systems, including ERP platforms. - Familiarity with ADP financial services and payroll systems. - Knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. - Ability to work with balance sheet accounts and perform reconciliations. - Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments. - Understanding of financial legislation and compliance requirements.
