Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and driven Actuarial Consultant to join our team! In this role, you will support our growing actuarial consulting practice by working on a variety of projects, including loss reserving, pricing, and data analytics. You will have significant interaction with clients, gaining visibility and making a real impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your actuarial experience and work in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Essential Education and Experience:

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analytics, economics, finance, business, or related field
• Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS)
• Property & casualty industry experience, prior actuarial consulting experience preferred

Skills and Competencies:

• Self-starter with the ability to develop client-oriented solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Preferred experience with Alteryx, R, Python, or related coding programs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with loss reserving, pricing, and data analytics projects for various commercial property and casualty lines
• Organize and analyze large data volumes, ensuring integrity and accuracy
• Setup and oversee spreadsheet analysis, templates, and exhibits
• Apply complex actuarial theories to create statistical models
• Prepare and oversee production exhibits and written reports to present findings
• Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for prospects
