  • Software Utilization: Use AppFolio property management software to manage tenant accounts, process transactions, and generate reports.
  • Move-In/Move-Out Support: Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs, conducting unit inspections, processing deposits, and overseeing unit turnover.
  • Leasing & Marketing: Assist with marketing vacant units, including conducting market analysis to determine competitive rental rates, ensuring timely occupancy, and minimizing vacancy periods.

Qualifications:

  • Software Proficiency: Experience with AppFolio property management software is highly preferred.
  • Lease Knowledge: Strong understanding of CAA/AOA lease agreements, rent control laws, and tenant/landlord relations.
  • Vendor Management: Experience in managing vendor relationships, coordinating services, and processing invoices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear, professional correspondence.
  • Maintenance Knowledge: Basic knowledge of property maintenance and repair processes, including troubleshooting and coordinating contractor work.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Licensing: Active California Real Estate License preferred
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between properties
