The Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (SUPR) is seeking to hire a Public Service Administrator to serve as the Block Grant Manager to coordinate the Federal Substance Use Prevention, Treatment, and Recovery Services Block Grant (SUPTRS BG) application and reports submission for the state of Illinois. Creates and implements electronic work plans to manage projects and timelines pertaining to requirements, the annual application, and report to ensure compliance. Manages grant related aspects of the State Plan for implementation. Participates in annual statewide strategic planning efforts and implementation process by staffing the SUPR planning subcommittee that includes internal Department of Human Services (DHS) staff and providers. Manages financial compliance with the federal grant, including state needs assessment studies and other SUPTRS BG and related SUPR matters. Serves as manager of the content of portions of the SUPR website that make up a library of resource materials.
