Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle, delivering goods to various locations.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of deliveries, adhering to all federal and state regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding deliveries and any potential issues.
• Provide top-level customer service to clients during interactions.
• Address any vehicle maintenance needs and report them to management promptly.
• Follow all company policies and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Valid CDL A license and a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of experience as a commercial truck driver.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong organizational abilities with a focus on time management.
• Must pass background checks and drug screening as required by company policy.
