Job Description

Join a leading CPA firm located in Miami, FL, where your skills as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) will be fully utilized. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of accounting tasks, including auditing financial records in compliance with US GAAS or ISA standards for foreign clients operating in the US. You will also be responsible for generating accurate monthly financial statements, resolving discrepancies in bank accounts, and preparing tax filings. Your commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional client service will be integral to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive client tax interviews and gather necessary documentation.
• Analyze complex corporate and individual tax returns and provide insightful advice on tax codes.
• Manage state and federal payroll tax processing.
• Review bank and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain adherence to all relevant state and federal laws.
• Communicate effectively with clients, state agencies, and the IRS.
• Ensure client files are up-to-date and meticulously organized.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Fundamental understanding of GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills, particularly with databases.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in CPA roles, with expertise in corporate and individual taxes.
• Experience with CaseWare or similar applications is preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
