Job Description

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

  • Location: Florida (Preferred: Tampa, Sarasota, Orlando, Ocala, Gainesville, or Jacksonville)
  • Industry: Residential Services (Home Services)
  • Compensation: $200K–$300K base + 3–5% equity (projected platform exit: $300M–$400M)
  • Reports to: Board of Directors

Overview:

A private equity-backed platform is seeking a hands-on, strategic Chief Executive Officer to lead a residential services roll-up across Florida. This is a high-growth opportunity to take the reins of a rapidly scaling business in a fragmented, recession-resistant market. With strong financial backing and an aggressive acquisition strategy in place, the CEO will be responsible for building the infrastructure, team, and operational systems to support a 30+ acquisition roll-up over the next 24 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company’s overall strategy, day-to-day operations, and financial performance
  • Build a top-tier executive leadership team across all core functions (Operations, Finance, Sales, HR, etc.)
  • Design and implement scalable processes, systems, and SOPs to professionalize the organization
  • Drive M&A strategy and execution, including integration of acquired businesses
  • Develop regional hubs to improve technician management, customer service, and market density
  • Oversee implementation of enabling technology platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, route optimization tools)
  • Define and manage KPIs to ensure accountability, alignment, and visibility across the business
  • Cultivate a performance-driven, customer-centric culture

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven success as CEO, President, COO, or GM in a home services or field-based services company (e.g., HVAC, pest control, landscaping, garage doors, pool services, roofing, etc.)
  • Experience scaling multi-site, route-based businesses
  • Background in private equity-backed companies or similar high-growth environments
  • Track record of executing and integrating M&A
  • Strong operational and financial acumen; P&L ownership experience
  • Comfortable in high-velocity, hands-on settings requiring both strategy and execution
  • Excellent team-builder and communicator who leads by example
