Closer / Post Closer – Mortgage Lending

Location: Simi Valley, CA (On-Site, Full-Time) Schedule: Monday – Friday

This role is critical to the loan lifecycle, ensuring accurate document preparation, compliance, and investor purchase readiness while providing outstanding support to Loan Officers and clients.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Loan Closing & Compliance

· Prepare Closing Disclosures (CDs) and Closing Documents using DocMagic with precision and compliance.

· Ensure compliance with TRID regulations and maintain strict adherence to disclosure timelines.

· Manage the loan disclosure process, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery.

· Work with Loan Officers, Processors, and Title/Escrow to facilitate smooth closings.

Funding & Warehouse Line Management

· Request funding wires from warehouse funding lines, ensuring seamless transactions.

· Monitor funding timelines and proactively resolve issues to prevent delays.

Post-Closing & Loan Purchase

· Handle post-funding pre-purchase conditions and quickly resolve any outstanding issues.

· Work with multiple investors to ensure loans are purchased off the warehouse line as quickly as possible.

· Navigate investor systems, including UWM and other investor portals, to facilitate purchases.

Systems & Technology

· Proficient in ARIVE LOS, UWM, DocMagic, and other investor platforms.

· Utilize technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

· Work with automated systems and digital tools to manage compliance, documents, and investor conditions.

Communication & Teamwork

· Maintain exceptional communication with internal teams, investors, and funding partners.

· Proactively manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively in a high-volume environment.

· Work collaboratively with Processors, Loan Officers, and external partners to resolve post-closing conditions swiftly.

· Experienced Mortgage Professional: Proven experience in closing and post-closing with familiarity in investor requirements.

· Tech-Savvy & Fast Learner: Comfortable navigating loan origination systems (ARIVE LOS, UWM, DocMagic) and investor portals.

· Detail-Oriented & Deadline-Driven: Manages multiple tasks seamlessly, ensuring loans close and purchase efficiently.

· Customer-Centric Mentality: Enjoys working with Loan Officers and providing an exceptional closing experience.

· Problem-Solver & Self-Starter: Takes initiative to resolve issues proactively and ensure smooth loan funding.
