Construction Superintendent

Residential Real Estate Development. Vertically integrated Investment, Development, and Construction. Actively seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee ground-up multifamily projects, including supervising the on site day-to-day work.
• Prepare the project plan, sequence, and schedule with the collaboration of field personnel.
• Maintain project documents including progress reports, schedule updates, change orders, time & material logs.
• Communicating appropriately with the proper parties and keep them fully informed of progress and any significant technical problems/solutions and their effect on design, schedule and/or costs.
• Develop logistics and expedite the permitting and approvals process as necessary

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a Superintendent with suburban residential construction experience
• Stick-built (wood frame) experience a plus
• Full scope of experience including sitework, foundation, sewage, drainage, concrete, masonry, mechanical systems, carpentry, and finishes.
• The ability to establish documents and procedures that focus on site safety.
• Familiarity with all construction trades.
• Understanding of the Long Island market (code/zoning/subcontractors)
