Location: Bridgeport, WV (Projects throughout North Central West Virginia – no overnight travel)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee residential and commercial construction projects in North Central West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of hands-on construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of various construction methods and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities
• Maintain strong communication with subcontractors, suppliers, project staff, and management
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Interpret and enforce construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Manage day-to-day operations and solve problems as they arise
• Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their questions and concerns professionally
• Drive and operate construction trailers (open and enclosed – no CDL required)
• Implement and uphold safety protocols and site cleanliness

Qualifications:

• 7-10 years of experience in residential and commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and concrete systems
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors
• Comfortable speaking with clients and managing expectations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to make informed decisions in the field
• Valid driver’s license; ability to transport construction trailers
• Based in Bridgeport, WV, with familiarity of the North Central WV area (Morgantown to Bridgeport)
