Environmental Project Manager – Soundview Consultants (A Trinity Consultants Company)

About the Role:

We seek a self-motivated Environmental Project Manager with expertise in soil science, biology, ecology, environmental science, or permitting to manage projects related to wetlands, streams, shorelines, and critical habitats in the Puget Sound area . This role involves both field and office work , with a focus on project management, permitting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee natural resource and environmental planning projects .
  • Direct field staff conducting wetland, stream, habitat, and shoreline assessments .
  • Manage permit applications and environmental documentation (e.g., JARPAs, wetland reports, mitigation plans).
  • Research and interpret environmental regulations and critical area codes .
  • Develop and track project scopes, budgets, and timelines .
  • Collaborate with clients, agencies, and tribal representatives .
  • Provide solutions for land use planning projects and ensure high-quality service.
  • Approve project invoices and maintain compliance with company policies.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Environmental Sciences, Planning, or related field .
  • 6+ years in environmental planning, consulting, or project management.
  • Strong understanding of wetland assessment, mitigation, and regulations (Clean Water Act, SEPA/NEPA, etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office (especially Outlook & Word).
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • WA Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
