Fundraising Consultant – New York City or San Francisco – $150k to $250k Pro Rata

Our client is an innovative beauty tech company making its mark in the USA. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge beauty advancements while capitalizing on the company’s growth and strong connections with investors and industry leaders. This is a part-time, remote position based in New York City or San Francisco, with some travel required.

The Role

• Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve a large seed round.
• Identify, engage, and secure commitments from key investors, leveraging networks and relationships.
• Collaborate closely with the executive leadership team to craft compelling investment narratives and position the company for sustainable growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, ensuring clear communication and alignment with the company’s vision.
• Drive long-term value creation by aligning fundraising efforts with strategic business objectives.
• Leverage deep expertise in fundraising and a proven track record of closing significant funding rounds to deliver results.

What they are looking for:

• Extensive experience raising $20 million or more for tech or beauty startups, with a strong track record across multiple successful fundraising rounds.
• Well-established connections with venture capitalists, angel investors, and strategic partners specializing in tech and beauty sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of the technology and/or beauty industries, with expertise in navigating emerging markets and innovative business models.
• Skilled in designing and executing fundraising strategies that align investor interests with organizational objectives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in leading complex negotiations and securing favorable outcomes.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and managing due diligence processes.
