Role: Investment Banking Analyst

Location: Washington DC

Sector: FIG

Company Summary : We are currently partnered with a top performing specialty boutique Investment Banking specialized in the FIG sector looking to add an experience Analyst to their extremely active deal team in Washington DC. This individual will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders at the firm ad gain extensive M&A reps in the FIG space, a sector that has proven to be stable and market adverse throughout 2025.

The Investment Banking Analyst will be responsible for:

• Conducting financial analysis and market research
• Working across the execution side of M&A transactions (primarily sell side)
• Building financial models, marketing materials and pitch decks
• Interacting with existing and prospective clients

The Investment Banking Analyst should have:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Previous experience in the FIG sector, or a passion or interest in working in the FIG space
• Currently located in or willing to relocate to Washington DC
• Strong financial acumen
• Ability to build a financial model
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
