JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is hiring a Legal Assistant for one of our clients in the Irvine, CA area. For over 3 decades our client has made a renowned name for their firm within the civil litigation industry. This firm believes in a hands on approach and makes a conscious effort to get their attorneys into the court room quickly to shadow and participate early in their careers in order to learn. They are avid about developing one another and being open minded to others' ideas. The firm is very big on collaboration and team work and do their best to support one another in order to achieve optimal results for their clients. Due to this, the Legal Assistant will play a crucial role within the legal practice and work closely with attorneys at the practice and clients. This person will gain invaluable experience by being able to work alongside top notch attorneys and paralegals and will have lots of room for career development and growth should they choose! This position is looking for someone to start ASAP and is onsite 5 days a week in Irvine, CA.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience
- Experience using CLIO
- Background working for firms who practice civil litigation
- Experience scheduling court reporters, depositions, filings, etc.
- Experience managing the firm calendar - Comfortable using Macs
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with specifically federal, state, and/or appellate courts
- Workers' compensation experience
