Bilingual (Korean/English) Maintenance Technician - Austin, TX

$30/hr to $40/hr -- Training Provided

Job Description:

The Bilingual (Korean/English) Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of chemical and slurry systems in our semiconductor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in technical writing, an understanding of P&IDs, and the ability to document all activities accurately. This individual should have excellent teamwork and communication skills in both Korean and English to interact effectively with team members and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and periodic maintenance of chemical and slurry systems.
  • Accurately document all activities performed on-site.
  • Conduct maintenance tasks in compliance with the agreed work scope, including routine and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Replace filters for both chemical and slurry systems, change pumps, handle HMI repayment, perform titrator maintenance, sensor calibration, cleaning, and low voltage troubleshooting.
  • Execute corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Understand and interpret P&IDs, and technical documentation.
  • Identify necessary parts and tools required for various maintenance tasks.
  • Read gauges and comprehend units of measure during maintenance work.

Qualifications:

  • Related experience in maintenance within the semiconductor industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with P&IDs and technical documentation.
  • Ability to identify, procure, and utilize the necessary parts and tools for maintenance tasks.
  • Competence in reading gauges and understanding units of measurement.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Proficient communication skills in both Korean and English for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
