Contract Type: 6-Month Contract (Temporary Assignment)

Start Date: 02/24/2025

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)

Job Summary

The technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facilities, electrical systems, machines, equipment, and tools. Additionally, they will conduct inspections to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring continuous operation and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, machines, and tools.
• Conduct periodic and special inspections to prevent breakdowns.
• Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy machinery, and potentially dangerous equipment.
• Inspect structures, equipment, and vehicles for safety compliance.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience (education may substitute for experience).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in preventive/predictive maintenance, inspections, general carpentry, and forklift operation.
• Safe use of hand and power tools.

Preferred:

• Forklift operation experience.
• Additional experience with hand and power tools.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Frequent walking, sitting, standing, and climbing stairs.
• Regular use of hands, arms, and fingers for dexterity-based tasks.
• Vision abilities including close-range, distance, depth perception, and color differentiation.
• Hearing abilities to discern different tones and volumes.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to outdoor elements (extreme temperatures, sun, rain, snow).
• Exposure to fumes, hazardous chemicals, or materials.
• Frequent exposure to loud noise environments.

Testing & Compliance Requirements

• Required Testing: DOT Physical, Hearing Exam

Language Proficiency

• English: Speak, Read, Write (Required)
• Spanish: Speak, Read, Write (Preferred)
