Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for marketing and a knack for creating compelling communications? Janek Performance Group, a leader in sales training solutions, is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team!

About the Role

As a key member of Janek’s marketing team, you will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to enhance our brand visibility through diverse marketing, communication, and public relations strategies. You’ll have the chance to work on exciting campaigns, create engaging content, and help amplify Janek’s voice across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute marketing campaigns utilizing print, digital, social media, and emerging platforms.
  • Develop and schedule engaging social media content across platforms using tools like HubSpot or Hootsuite.
  • Craft press releases, award submissions, and other written materials to build brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with designers and internal teams to maintain a cohesive brand voice across all channels.
  • Analyze industry trends, conduct competitive research, and apply findings to enhance marketing strategies.
  • Edit and proofread publications, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Build and manage marketing email and sales sequences using Marketing Automation Platforms.
  • Monitor website analytics and social media metrics to track campaign performance.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions to develop innovative marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in a marketing agency or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in WordPress-hosted websites and intermediate HTML.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a creative flair.
  • Understanding of SEO and digital marketing trends.
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or similar marketing automation platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with online meeting tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or WebEx.
  • A collaborative mindset with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
