The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to increase alumni engagement and promote the mission of the LSU Alumni Association. This role will report to Vice President of Marketing, Travel and Corporate Partnerships and works closely with all LSU Alumni Association internal departments to create and coordinate consistent branding design/copy writing/scripting of all advertisements and promotional materials; maintains a consistent company image. Ensures effective communication internally and with alumni and other stakeholders, utilizing digital and traditional marketing, social media, email campaigns, and events to drive engagement and maximize profits. Responsible for strategically planning and implementing marketing programs, both short- and long-range, targeted toward existing and new markets for multiple departments including but not limited to: alumni chapters, on-campus/student programming, fundraising, membership, travel, The Cook Hotel & Conference Center, and the LSU Alumni Gift Shop. Oversees third party vendors, coordinators and interns.
