Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Carmel, IN . This is a 3+ month with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: Carmel, IN 46032

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23/hr. on W2.

Shift: Mon - Thurs 7:15 am- 5:00 pm; Friday 8:00 am-12:00 PM / No weekends or holidays!

Duration: 3+ Months

*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Job Details:

The primary responsibilities of this role include rooming patients face to face, taking vitals, refilling prescriptions, providing vaccinations, and drawing labs.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to patient care and safety.

Job Requirements:

• Prepare examination rooms for patient consultations and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and common areas.
• Accurately measure and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
• Verify prescription information and patient details.
• Administer vaccinations and immunizations following established protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of vaccines administered and inventory levels.
• Collect blood, urine, or other specimens from patients for laboratory testing.

Responsibilities:

• Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patients for examination
• Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and promptly
• Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies
• Respects patient confidentiality at all times and treat patients with courtesy and respect

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certification and BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience is required
• Basic computer literacy, Knowledge of Medical Terminology
