Pride Health is hiring a Med Tech to support our clients in the medical facility. This is a 3-Months assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Shift : Night

Required:

• BLS Certification
• ASCP or AMT certification

Key Responsibilities

1. Specimen Management: Assess acceptability of specimens for testing per established criteria.
2. Assist with specimen processing as needed.
3. Technical Procedures & Testing: Perform routine and complex technical procedures as outlined in Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure functionality.
5. Prepare, test, and evaluate reagents or controls.
6. Result Reporting & Documentation: Report accurate, timely test results to support quality patient care.
7. Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
8. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Make technical decisions related to testing and resolve problems efficiently.
9. Lab Operations: Maintain a safe work environment with proper use of personal protective equipment.
10. Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
11. or compliance with local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements.
12. Experience: 2-4 years of clinical laboratory testing experience.
13. Licenses & Certifications: State Medical Technologist license (if required by state regulations).
14. ASCP or AMT certification (preferred or required depending on specific requirements).
15. Skills & Attributes: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
16. Proficiency with computers; familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is a plus.
17. Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
18. Must pass a standardized color vision screen.
19. Flexibility for overtime or alternate shifts as business needs arise.

Pay Highlights:

Negotiable Pricing

Daily OT after 24 hours

Weekly OT after 40 hours

Prioritize tasks to deliver quality, timely patient care.

Maintain clinical competency and perform skills within legal and facility policy boundaries.
