Job Description

Saint Alphonsus Health System , Idaho's only hospital system recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Large Employers for 2025 , is looking for a Nurse Manager to lead our Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU and SDU team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise, Idaho .

This position will be located at our off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for Idaho’s only Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit, part of a Level II Trauma and Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center.
  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budgets, and quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with highly skilled Fellowship trained and Boarded Specialty and Sub-Specialty providers.
  • Mentor colleagues, ensuring professional growth and a supportive environment.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and program development in our pursuit of clinical excellence in this specialty.

Qualifications:

  • Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
  • Bachelor’s in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of nursing experience, 2+ years in a leadership role (preferred).
  • BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.
