C2’s client, a Wisconsin-based 100% employee-owned holding company that emphasizes employee development, customer satisfaction, and long-term financial health, is searching for a Part-Time Marketing Account Manager to cover a four-month maternity leave. This is a contract role (4-5 hours per day, 4 days per week) with a possibility for extension. Work will be predominantly remote, with occasional in-person meetings if needed.

Start Date: As soon as possible (first 2 weeks dedicated to training, learning, and setup)

Duration: 4 month contract (with possibility for extension), 4-5 hours/day, 4 days/week (potential for additional hours based on availability and need)

Location: Hybrid with an office in Pewaukee, WI; mostly remote with occasional on-site meetings as necessary

Compensation: $35-$42/hr. commensurate with experience

Job Description:

The Part-Time Marketing Account Manager will need to use their expertise to assist 6 companies with daily account maintenance and operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized individual with a passion for all areas of marketing and will have excellent writing and project management skills, with a knack for graphic design. This role involves collaborating with the client’s team to plan, execute, and manage marketing efforts which include digital marketing strategies. The Freelance Marketing Account Manager will work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating the ability to keep projects moving.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of various marketing tactics to promote company products and services for 6 different brands
• Write and edit engaging content for various marketing materials, including blog posts, social media posts, and email campaigns
• Utilize graphic design skills to create and enhance visually appealing marketing collateral and digital content, following each company’s visual guidelines
• Collaborate with our CMO, internal stakeholders and external partners to drive marketing initiatives forward
• Proactively manage and track marketing efforts, analyzing data to optimize performance and ROI
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for continuous improvement
• Maintain organization and efficiency in all marketing-related tasks

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on account management
• Agency account management experience is a plus
• Proficiency with HubSpot is preferred (Content Hub, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub); HubSpot certifications are desirable but not required
• Strong project management skills, and the ability to juggle various ‘accounts’ at the same time
• Experience with Asana is a plus
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling content
• Familiarity with graphic design principles and tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to make suggestions and take initiative
• Understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CoPilot
