About Us: Health Lab is an outpatient physical therapy clinic located inside of Wayfinder Fitness and Nutrition, a CrossFit gym in Palmer, Alaska. Health Lab specializes in providing fitness-forward care and promoting healthy habits. We started Health Lab to create more freedom to work and live in a way that matches our goals. Physical therapists at Health Lab will work with CrossFit coaches and personal trainers at the gym. PTs at Health Lab have the opportunity to provide educational workshops and share their expertise/passion with local CrossFit athletes and active individuals.

Location : Living in Palmer offers endless access to the outdoors all year. We provide our team with the ability to make a great living and enjoy everything Alaska has to offer. Within short driving distances, you have access to the Chugach and Talkeetna mountain ranges, Knik and Matanuska glaciers, Alyeska Ski Resort, and Hatcher Pass Recreation Area, to name a few. Position Type: W2 or 1099 (bonus or profit sharing based on revenue generated)

Flexible Schedule: 36-40 hours, ideally 32 patients or less per week. Create your own schedule to fit your needs. You can expect scheduled, paid time each week for marketing and building your desired caseload, patient planning, documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a caseload of patients – 60-minute eval and follow up
• Design individualized treatment plans
• Engage and educate patients on pillars of health - exercise, nutrition, sleep, and stress management
• Market yourself to your ideal clients and referring providers, coaches, etc.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction
• Keep accurate records and documentation of patient progress
• Participate in continuing education and professional development

Requirements:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Alaska
• Experience with fitness athletes and/or CrossFit/weightlifting movements is preferred
• Motivated and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to build your niche caseload
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ICE Physio training is a bonus
• DN certification encouraged
• CPR/BLS Certification

Compensation/Benefits:

• Flexible payment options: W2 or 1099 based on total revenue generated ($90-$120k)
