Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a Lead Pricing Analyst to develop and implement strategies that maximize profitability and market share. This role demands overseeing the analysis of complex data sets to predict pricing trends, evaluate the impact of pricing adjustments on revenue, and deliver actionable insights to top management. This position also involves leading a team that collaborates with sales, marketing, finance, and product development to ensure pricing structures are competitive and aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Pricing Strategy Development: Direct the pricing team to develop and execute pricing strategies that support the organization's objectives.
• Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of historical sales data, competitive pricing, market trends, and customer demands to shape pricing decisions.
• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess the potential impacts of various pricing strategies on revenue and profitability.
• Reporting and Insights: Track pricing performance against compliance and business goals, delivering detailed reports to senior management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with different functional teams to ensure pricing strategies complement overall business strategies and market conditions.
• Pricing Optimization: Innovate and implement dynamic pricing models, conducting tests to find the most effective pricing structures.
• Project Leadership: Manage projects related to pricing system enhancements and process optimization.
• Compliance and Ethical Standards: Ensure that all pricing strategies adhere to organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Encourage ongoing improvement and skill development within the pricing team.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: At least 7 years in pricing or financial analysis, demonstrating successful revenue growth through strategic pricing; leadership experience beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in dynamic pricing and revenue management.
• Professional certification in Pricing, Data Analytics, or Finance.

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in analytical and data visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, or R/Python.
• Strong capability in financial modeling and economic forecasting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at presenting complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
