New incoming Postion for January!

The General Production position will vary on production as their key responsibilities correspond with Prep Weighers and Ingredient Handlers. They are responsible for setting up the production line, preparing ingredients, supplying the lines, and ensuring overall flow of the production line .This position reports to the Production Supervisor/Team Lead.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:

• Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shift available

• Starting hourly pay: $18.31

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

• Communicate with supply person so that there is always an adequate supply of ingredients.

• • Consistently hand weighs the specified number of packages per minute.

• • Minimal lifting- repetitious work environment.

• Set-up area with necessary equipment in timely manner and assist with Line set-up.

• Double check commodity codes of all ingredients before using to ensure correct ingredients are being used.

• Complete all paperwork legibly and accurately and in a timely manner including any required HACCP paperwork and ensure that paperwork is delivered to the prescribed location at shifts end.

• Check all scales used to ensure they are weighing properly before batching ingredients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HS Diploma Preferred

• Minimum 3+ Months of Manufacturing Experience

• Must have basic proficiency of English language to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures

• Basic math and computer knowledge and use

• Ability to operate forklift and pallet movers. 

Skills:

• Excellent attention to detail, neatness, and follow through.

• Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and take appropriate corrective action

• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
