Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Prophet 21 (P21) Operations Consultant to assist our clients in optimizing their distribution and operational processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Prophet 21 ERP system, a deep understanding of operational workflows, and a proven ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions. This role involves working closely with clients to implement, configure, and optimize P21 software while providing expert guidance to improve operational efficiency and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, operational challenges, and distribution workflows.
• Provide expertise in implementing, configuring, and customizing the Prophet 21 ERP system to align with client objectives.
• Analyze existing operational processes and identify opportunities for optimization using Prophet 21 functionality.
• Design and deliver solutions to enhance inventory management, order processing, purchasing, and warehouse operations.
• Assist with data migration, system testing, and end-user training during ERP implementations or upgrades.
• Create detailed project documentation, including business process maps, system configurations, and user guides.
• Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and guidance to ensure sustained system performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to manage project timelines and deliverables.
• Stay informed about Prophet 21 updates, industry best practices, and emerging trends in distribution and operations.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the ERP system is being utilized effectively and recommend improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Prophet 21 Consultant or in a similar role focused on ERP implementation and optimization.
• Deep understanding of distribution and operational workflows, including inventory, purchasing, sales, and warehouse management.
• Familiarity with Prophet 21 modules, such as Inventory Management, Order Processing, Purchasing, and Financials.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business processes.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data migration, report writing, and system customization is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Work Environment:

• This role may require travel to client sites for on-site implementations and support.
• Flexible remote work arrangements may be available depending on project needs.
