As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in facilitating agile practices within cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of our project delivery methods while working on critical infrastructure and operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead and support daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for multiple teams, ensuring proper use of agile practices and techniques.
• Coaching & Mentorship: Act as an agile coach to guide teams through the agile methodology, ensuring continuous improvement and providing guidance to the team on best practices for Scrum.
• Team Support: Remove impediments and roadblocks that may hinder team progress and delivery, ensuring a smooth workflow within the team.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with product owners, project managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and timelines.
• Tracking and Reporting: Maintain and monitor agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and sprint reports. Provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders on team progress and performance.
• Promote a Culture of Continuous Improvement: Encourage and support a continuous improvement mindset within teams, leveraging feedback from retrospectives and lessons learned to improve team dynamics and processes.
• Foster Team Accountability: Ensure the team remains focused and self-organized while promoting open communication and transparency.
• Support Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to ensure consistency and alignment across teams working on different parts of the business.
• Risk Management: Help identify risks early, and facilitate risk mitigation actions to prevent impact on the project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification required.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a midstream, oil & gas, or related industry.
• Strong knowledge and experience in implementing and facilitating agile practices and frameworks, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remove impediments and address team concerns.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and in a highly regulated industry is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the oil and gas industry, specifically midstream operations, is highly desirable.
• Experience in facilitating teams that work on both IT and operational projects.
• Experience with Agile transformation initiatives.
