Role: SEO Specialist

Location: Remote, but in the tri-state area preferred!

Bucks County, PA (3-4 times quarterly for client meeting, annual reviews, etc. - must be open to travel)

Salary: $55-70k DOE

Clutch is looking for an SEO Specialist with agency experience for a client of ours.

Responsibilities:

• Craft comprehensive SEO strategies tailored to individual client goals, incorporating keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO audits, content recommendations, and link-building initiatives.
• Identify high-value keywords and search trends relevant to our clients' industries and target audiences using various SEO tools.
• Analyze website architecture, crawlability, indexability, site speed, mobile-friendliness, and other technical factors to identify areas for improvement.
• Optimize website content, meta descriptions, title tags, header tags, URL structures, and image alt text to enhance search engine rankings.
• Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content that attracts and engages target audiences.
• Implement ethical and effective link-building strategies to improve website authority and organic visibility.
• Track, measure, and analyze key SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Prepare regular reports and provide actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Continuously monitor the latest SEO algorithm updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our strategies remain cutting-edge.
• Work closely with account managers, content creators, designers, and developers to ensure seamless integration of SEO efforts across all marketing initiatives.
• Clearly and effectively communicate SEO strategies, progress, and results to clients, building strong and transparent relationships.

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of proven experience in SEO within a marketing agency setting.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or similar.
• Deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Databox, CRMs, WordPress SEO/Yoast.
• Strong knowledge of on-page optimization, technical SEO, link building, and content marketing principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with local SEO.
• Familiarity with website development principles preferred (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience with content management systems (WordPress, etc)
