Station Leader – Burlingame, CA

Our client is looking for a dynamic, hands-on leader to join our team as a Station Leader at our San Francisco location. This role is ideal for someone passionate about operational excellence, team building, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership and Culture Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.

  • Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily station operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and standards.
  • Manage service delivery to ensure all client commitments are met with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to maintain high operational standards.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure all team members prioritize safety in daily operations and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and documentation.
  • Investigate and report incidents or accidents, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with company protocols.
  • Problem Solving and Decision Making:
  • Address and resolve operational challenges, including service disruptions and personnel issues.
  • Collaborate with dispatch and other departments to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Provide hands-on support to team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Financial and Budgetary Oversight:
  • Assist in the preparation and management of station budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, complaints, and feedback to enhance service satisfaction.

This is an on-site role at their San Francisco station located at Burlingame, CA .

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership experience in transportation, hospitality, or related industries.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach to management and problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred).
  • 5+ years of transportation experience (management experience highly desired).
  • A passion for mentoring and team building.
