We are currently assisting our client with an Environmental Manager search near Athens, GA. The Environmental Manager will be responsible for overseeing compliance and sustainability initiatives. Developing and implementing strategies to minimize environmental impact, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote sustainable practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage waste reduction, recycling, and disposal programs.
• Oversee the implementation of energy efficient practices and technologies.
• Monitor and report all environmental performance metrics.
• Lead and mentor a team of environmental specialists and technicians.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Environmental Science, or Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in environmental management
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience in automotive industry
