Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will be essential in managing reservations, greeting guests, and coordinating seating arrangements.

Duties:

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely service.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations as needed.
• Foster positive guest relations by promptly addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience.

Experience:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with Open Table Reservation system is a must.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service are essential.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere.
