Pulmonologist

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a BE/BC Pulmonologist to join our growing health network. Due to patient demand and significant growth, you will be joining an established 5 provider practice in Edison, New Jersey. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive continuous quality care. Candidates with clinical expertise, effective communication and academic prowess are strongly encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Join a dynamic network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration and mentorship with strong clinical support
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver exceptional care for patients experiencing lung and pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders
• Lead research initiatives, participate in new studies, engage in clinical trials, and foster and expand research collaborations
• Implement novel procedures and therapeutics for lung and pulmonary diseases
• Offer consultative services at JFK University Medical Center
• Present a high profile role in national and international societies in the field of Interstitial Diseases and Pulmonary Hypertension
• Prescribe and manage positive airway pressure (PAP) modalities
• Provide mentorship to junior faculty and fellows within the Division of Pulmonary Medicine
• Supervise fellows and trainees to ensure quality patient care
• Dedicated administrative time, including for teaching
• Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine

Opportunity Requirements:

• M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
• Have or have the ability to obtain a New Jersey Medical License
• Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology required
• Board Eligible/Certified in Sleep Medicine and Critical Care a plus
• Both new fellow graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
