Food Safety & Quality Manager (PCQI) - $65,000 - $70,000

A leading packaging company with over 50 years of experience is seeking a passionate and dedicated Food Safety & Quality Manager (PCQI) .

This role will oversee the implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of Food Safety and Defense requirements across multiple facilities.

This well-established packaging provider has been serving multiple industries, including e-commerce, food, automotive, and cosmetics. With operations in multiple U.S. locations, they offer a collaborative environment and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Food Defense Program
• Ensure adherence to Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS) and cGMP/Quality requirements
• Maintain AIB certification with a minimum score of 965
• Ensure compliance with social responsibility requirements
• Communicate improvement suggestions and findings with Food Safety and QA Supervisor
• Maintain chemical control and approved chemical list
• Develop and implement internal audit schedules
• Train staff on policies and procedures
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Plans
• Actively participate in daily staff meetings and Safety Committee
• Maintain First Aid certification and perform emergency drills
• Ensure adherence to Safety Rules and accident investigations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of OSHA, Workman's Comp, and Safety Programs
• Experience with Quality Assurance (RCAs, ISO, AIB, SQF)
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Strong communication skills (bilingual preferred)
• Proficient in WMS, MS Office, and file management
• Ability to work flexible hours, minimal travel
